Round head of mother-of-pearl colour variegated with red. Crunchy variety suitable for forcing. For forced cultivation, well-developed plants are raised in autumn. After cutting off the leaves and removing the secondary roots, they are placed in boxes or in dark environments and covered with a layer of light soil. It prefers a rich, substantial soil free of weeds; possibly well worked and considered with decomposed manure.
